The most picturesque run in all of Oregon!

"The Dam Marathon is named the most beautiful marathon in the US!" by a runner in 2014 (who has run at least one marathon in every state)!!! It starts at the Headwaters of the Willamette River in Oakridge Oregon. Oakridge is the Recreation capital of the northwest, 5 rivers run together there and it is surrounded by national forest, lakes and trails.

Great views of Oregon's most beautiful lake, coves, and Willamette National Forest!

You will be running along Oregon's most beautiful lake in the Willamette National Forest and starting and finishing at an amazing park!

You will be running in Oregon's amazingly beautiful Willamette National Forest! You want to do this run!!

Trophy for Runners

Every Dam Half Marathon runner will receive a medal and 1st and 2nd place male and female winners will get a trophy!

The Dam Half start time is at 9:30 located at Greenwaters Park in beautiful Oakridge Oregon.

Here is the breakdown:
The first mile is a trail that crosses the river over a bridge through a tall tree forest.  The 2nd mile is along the Willamette river, (gravel road 5852) there will be a (water station at mile 2)

The 3rd mile is an uphill climb along the west side of the Dam (pavement FS21) there will be a (water station at mile 3) Continue on FS21 three mile along Hills Creek lake.  
 
At the turn around (half way point)  there will be more water and energy boosters.  You will then head back down the same route to finish at Green Waters Park. 

At Green Waters Park there will be music, kombucha, drinks, snacks, prizes, and lots of fun waiting for you.

Ambulance stationed at Mile 3, also a mobile medical support vehicle

Hydration Stations

Hydration Stations at Mile 1.8, 3, 5, 6.55 turn around and they will be at the same locations on the way back. 5 to go - Bathroom, 3 to go, 1.8 to go, .75 to go, and finish

Restrooms

Restrooms at the start/finish and mile 5 & 7
