The Dam Marathon running over the Willamette river in the 5 & 10k.

Green Waters Park is a large family park with an awesome play structure for kids, picnic tables, trees for shade, and an amphitheater.
The park is located on the gorgeous Willamette River!
Course Description

Starts at Greenwaters Park the address is: 48362 Highway 58 at milepost 36. Oakridge, OR
Start time is 11:00 am
A beautiful 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk OR challenge yourself with the 10K (6.2 mile) run.
Here is the breakdown:
The run first heads up Salmon Creek a mile. It then passes under a neat old train bridge originally built in 1906!The train bridge was then again reassembled in 1948. The run then heads back through the park and across the awesome Willamette river foot bridge. Runners will then go around the first loop under the tall tree forest and back to the finish at the amphitheater. At the amphitheater will be live music, vendors, food and fun. The 10K takes another round.
There will be a rabbit on a bike leading the front runner in the right direction the entire way and the trail will be well marked with mile steaks and arrows for where to turn.

Trophy
1st, and 2nd place Female and Male winners will get a Trophy!
Hydration Station
There will be electrilyte drinks, water, and kombucha for runners after the run at the park
Parking
There will be plenty of parking at Green Waters Park and overflow parking at 48521 Hwy 58.
